Wabi Sabi is the Japanese world viewing representing acceptance of transience and imperfection. Sometimes described as beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
Zubin Mehta is a high school student from St. Marks School of Texas. He focuses on celebrating both the imperfect and perfect parts of life captured by his lens. Apart from exploring the purpose of Wabi Sabi, Zubin has created a social impact platform to earn and give-back. All profits made via the sales of his photography are donated to non-profits.
Zubin works as a freelance photographer for social impact organizations; capturing special events for Habitat for Humanity, The Orchid Giving Circle, The Crow Museum of Asian Art and other organizations. He devotes the majority of his time to deepen his passion for community through art to build a sustainable tomorrow. Zubin was a part of the National Geographic Student Photography expedition to Japan showcasing work at a NatGeo photography event in Tokyo Here is met other student photographers and continues to collaborate with them to sell photos for a cause at special events. Currently, he is passionately working towards a commercial project for GHQ spirits, a UK brand and is available for other private and commercial work. Zubin is dedicated to donating part of his proceeds to the community causes he supports.
